How is it February already?? It seems like yesterday I was celebrating New Year's with my family.

What Happened In January

I feel January was all at once extremely busy and really slow. You know those moments where it feels like so much time has passed, but yet it feels like yesterday you were just starting something? Yeah, January was a whirlwind that passed by with an odd slowness.

Here's what happened at Bourbon & Honey this month.

I made a HUGE step in my business. I joined an incredible organization of entrepreneurs that is dedicated to sharing business among its members. I am so excited to be a part of this group of people, and I am looking forward to seeing what this has in store for Bourbon & Honey.

I also shifted the focus of my blog to more business-focused content. I covered many topics like branding and blogging. Of course, we celebrated some awesome local businesses and non-profits including Mindtheminimal, Soma Spa,

On the personal side of things, I participated in my first styled shoot last weekend!! Major thanks to Salt Water Tea for inviting my to model her beautiful jewelry!

I also was able to meet my high school bestie's new baby. Guys....the CUTEST baby you ever did see! So happy to get in some baby snuggles and coffee chats!

What's Coming in February

I am SO excited for February.

On the business side of things, I am looking forward to continuing to support Calgary's small businesses and tell even more awesome stories. Also, look out for some awesome collaborations with other bloggers! Stay tuned to the blog for some more awesome content including why you should hire a writer, how to plan a week's worth of content and why blogging still matters.

On the personal side, I AM GOING ON A VACATION!!! Seriously, guys, for the first time in five years, this girl is taking a vacation. I am headed to Montreal to support my girl on her interview. I'm so excited for the food, taking in some live music and the history. Did I mention I am excited for the food?? Hello, poutine! Stay tuned for a recap post on my trip!
