Good Bye, August. Hello, September.
How has another month passed by? It feels like yesterday when I was writing my July recap post. Yikes! I definitely need to take a break and enjoy these moments. However, this past month has been so busy, but SO good! The hustle has been hard, but the rewards are going to be sweet. And I am SO excited to share it all with you!
Say Yes to the Dress
On a personal note, my bestie bought her wedding dress this month!!! Guys, I can't show you a picture, but it looks so good.
Events
I was back at it this month with two incredible events. First, I was honoured to enjoy a night in with Cibo and Invivo Wines. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Cibo and settled in with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc from Invivo Wines and some sweet chocolate from Epiphanie.
I also attended the launch of Frenchie Wine Bar at UNA Takeaway. We enjoyed bites of UNA's takeaway menu, including the most delicious cheesecake I have ever tasted!! We also got a little sneak peek of the bar. The wine bar is located in the back of UNA Takeaway. It's an intimate space, but very cozy. We were also treated to a beautiful charcuterie created by the one and only Janice Beaton.

Hello September
I have been teeming with excitement to share what I have been so busy working on these past few months. So, here it is.
Announcement #1
I have been busy seeking out and developing stories to share as part of a weekly feature I am launching on Friday! This feature, called Feature Friday, will highlight a local entrepreneur, event, non-profit, small business, community-minded individuals. These are the stories of people in Calgary who make this city an incredible place to live, work and play. Keep your eyes peeled for some incredibly inspiring stories every Friday. You can learn more about Feature Friday here.
Announcement #2
September marks the most exciting journey for me professionally. I am so excited to announce that Bourbon & Honey is now a social media consulting company!
I have been working with a few local companies over the past few months, helping them create exceptional content to help them tell strong stories, build connected communities and achieve growth. I specialize in social media content development and management, but I also develop web-based content, including blogs, eBooks, articles, infographics and anything else a client may need. I'll be adding on some other services as the demand grows. You can learn more about what I do by visiting the Work with Me page.
So that's my update for September. What did you guys get up to this month?
